15yo DD wants a job

My DD (15) asked me recently to "find her a job" (her exact words). She's a relatively bright and sociable girl (lots of friends etc) - no reason why she needs me to do this for her. However she does suffer with a little social anxiety and finds talking to strangers hard. I told her I will help her but not do it for her.

How can I strike the balance between helping and not doing it for her? Also wondering what types of jobs would be suitable for a 15 yo girl? Sorry if I'm asking what seem like obvious questions - I've never parented a teen before! 😬

Help her write a cv but deal is she takes it into places to ask about jobs. Target pubs (waitressing, pot washing), cafes and fish and chip shops at her age unless she is year 11 and of school leaver age (my 15 yo dd is). The first few conversations will be painful but its great for confidence. Dd made me come with her to the first one but quickly realised you don't get a job hiding behind mum's coat tails!
