Hi all

The last week or so my 1 year old has been throwing tantrums over nothing, refusing food etc. She's becoming a nightmare, one minute she's happily playing and the next minute she's having a meltdown it's like they come out of nowhere! She also seems extra tired atm she's struggling to get to lunch we have been doing naps after lunch and she sleeps up to 2 hours she's been on 1 nap for a while (she's technically 14 months) but it's like she's really tired atm. I can see a few teeth poking through so surely the worst of the teething for these teeth is over? Just can't work out what's going on! Not ill or anything just seems really agg. Anyone else had experience with this?

Is she walking yet? Mine were really grumpy until they could walk. She may also be bothered by the heat or be ill.

@Pissinthepottyplease she's taking steps but not fully walking yet no. She's not ill I actually recently took her to the doctors cos I thought she might be but he just said probably teeth! As they do. Maybe the heat yeah just so hard when they can't fully voice what's wrong isn't it

Then I would say it’s definitely walking. Honestly they are so much happier when they can walk.

Sounds exactly like my 14 month old DD. She’s driving me up the wall atm - she can’t walk yet so assuming it’s that Hmm

@Vicky1989x I'm happy to hear it's not only me haha! It's a nightmare isn't it. To be honest she was agg before she crawled too so makes sense!

Sounds like mine. All better once he could walk. Could you swap nap and lunch? We always had a nap at 11 ish at that stage followed by lunch (with a decent snack about 10.30ish) and then swapped it round as he got older.

@Emmaaa1990 tell me about it! My DD’s always been aggy tbf, it just improves a bit whenever she masters a new skill then starts all over again 😂 She gets bored super quick too. Her name means princess in Arabic and she certainly lives up to it! 👑
