Kids fighting

My boys fight daily, it’s exhausting constantly breaking up fights. Do other kids fight so much? Hate When people say at least they can play together, they don’t play they just constantly fight. And yes I do tell them off etc doesn’t stop them. 9 and 7

I assign my kids chores to do when they fight, I make them do things like rake the leaves, do dishes, laundry and other things, my kids HATE doing chores so they started fighting less since they didn’t want to do anymore chores, plus the help around the house was nice.
