Baby refusing formula on holiday

We are on holiday at the moment and as we extended our stay I had to buy some additional formula locally. It’s the same brand as back home, but my 8.5-month old won’t drink it. We have three days left and he’s a good eater - should I keep trying with the bottle, but give him lots of milk-based food and water in the event he won’t drink it? Breast feeding is no longer an option. Thank you for any advice!

It's incredibly warm today. Have you tried giving it cool? Or could always just try cows milk for a couple of Days.

I’ve put it in the fridge - I’m going to try again later this evening. We’re in Greece, so it’s very hot indeed! Thank you for your suggestion.

It may be the same brand, but it's possible it is a different formulation. Also, the water you are using will be different. Both of these could be reasons.

But maybe it's just the change of scene and change of routine. Try not to panic.

Formula is different mixes for different countries. Try other brands in case they are accepted instead?

We had this with DS on holiday last week, he's just turned 10 months and tbh we just did full fat cows milk for a few days with no problems so maybe try that too

As long as he's taking liquid and is eating, it's fine. He'll manage a few days.
You could try adding a little milk powder to his food, if you felt he wasn't eating enough.
