Does anyone know of any accurate room thermometers for nursery? Gro egg says 24.9c, baby monitor says 27! House thermostat says 23.5 but that's downstairs which is usually cooler. I'm edging towards the gro egg being more accurate?? It certainly doesn't feel 27c!

Are they in the same location? If one is stuck in a corner and the other is up on an airy shelf, they will show different temps. Otherwise, I'd just take a rough estimate in the middle.

We use the Gro egg. Agree that it depends on the location as you'll get different readings.

It's a nightmare keeping them cool in this weather isn't it!

Our gro egg was saying it was 24-25+ degrees last night but it didn't feel that warm

Our baby monitor (BT one) usually says its 2-3 degrees hotter. We go by the tommee tippee star room and bath thermometer we have and in our heads know that if the baby monitor says 25 for example, the room will likely be closer to 22/23 but will always double check throughout the night to be sure. A few other mums I know have said the same about their baby monitors being higher Smile

Monitor is always a bit hotter - I think the electronics give off heat.

I go on my groegg ... 27.9 in their room tonight!!

BunnytheFriendlyDragon · 20/07/2021 20:13

Our gro egg says 26.1 now but it feels much cooler than it did earlyier

I think our baby monitor is usually 1-2 degrees hotter than actual too.

Hoping so for DS sake.
