ds(almost 2)seems to want to potty train,im not ready!!

all day hes been saying wee wee ,wanting his nappy off and sitting on potty(which weve had laying round house since april)he managed one wee on toilet(he seemed uncomfy on potty but didnt want nappy on) and 4 on floor.i swore after dd and ds1 that id never do potty training again!and i wanted to wait till summer but if he seems ready i think i should try know.am i right?i cant remember a thing!

If he's ready then it won't cause you any problems at all ... it's only when they're not ready that it's a pain!!

Let him have a go - if he's really ready it will only take a day or so.

but what if hes not!if he wakes up tomorrow and doesnt ask should i not try or should i ask when he wakes if hed like to try a wee.im thinking i need to get a potty with a wider seat as bit uncomfy id imagine.

Tesco sell a very wide based potty thing. The top actually doubles as a toilet seat insert, which gives you an idea how wide it is.
