Do you get the morning rage? (Light hearted)

Just wondered if I'm the only one who feel angry in the morning as I'm so tired? 🙈😂

My DD is one of those children who I am lucky to get 10 hours sleep from overnight. 12 hours has always been a total myth in my house!
Knew when she fell asleep at 8 last night (early for her) that I'd be in for an early start and it was 5:25! 🙄
I know this is nothing to some people but I feel so ratty and grumpy! I'm a nightowl and don't like going to bed too early. I'm terrible before 6am...it's the bloody middle of the night! Never been a morning person, I do wake up early but don't like people talking to me for a couple of hours 😂
I shouted at DD who wanted all the characters of her Frozen bedspread turning the other way...and she didn't go back to sleep after I did it...🙄
I look like death and am a total cowbag!
Anyone else? Mumsnet always makes me feel I'm not alone.

You just need to accept that you have to go to bed earlier. I was the same when mine were small...I'd cling on to the "I like my evenings!" but it's silly....ridiculous even. Go to bloody bed!

Then getting up at 5.30 will be fine. My kids are 13 and 16 now...and I choose to go to bed between 9 and 10....then I get up every day at 5.30 through choice.

My time is now that early morning slot.

Being grumpy because you're CHOOSING to go to bed late is not fair on your child. She's sleeping 10 hours which is amazing! 5.30am is a perfectly reasonable time to get up. IF you've had enough sleep.

I am a night owl too. But I am well adjusted to running on very little sleep, 5 childrens worth of practice (inc twins). Also 35wk pregnant atm and up at all hours as I'm rather uncomfortable in this muggy weather.

Wave goodbye to your evenings when you have a teen, ours never wants to go to bed.

I hated the early mornings with my dc when they were little. As they got older, towards the age of 2 or so, I refused to talk to or entertain them before 6.30a.m. so if they woke up I'd go in and tell them it was still night time and they had to try and go back to sleep until morning. I was lucky though that they slept 7-7 from being babies.

I am still a grumpy arsehole when I have to get up early for work!
