Feeling like the worst mother in the world right now. Please no hate comments because I'm already crying as it is and just feel incredibly stupid.
Major accident happened when I tried to dream feed DS (3 months). Only the bottle that I was using wasn't the bottle that he didn't finish an hour ago. It was from A WHOLE 24 FRICKING HOURS!
We have been out all day and DP washed and sterilised the bottles when we got back, as we do before we go to bed so we have plenty of bottles for the next day. But for some reason he only did 4 so he didn't take the one of my bedside table from last night. God knows why he didn't realise that he wouldn't have only had 4 bottles.
Anyway, DS didn't drink it. He pulled his face (rightly so) but some had dropped out of the teat into his mouth. In my tired state I'm not sure if he spat some of this out or if he swallowed it. It wasn't until I made a fresh bottle that I realised it was that old.
Will he get sick? I'm worried that he is going to be vomiting in the night. I'm probably not going to sleep at all tonight now. I'm such an idiot... 😞
