At what age would you let a child go to the park alone which included crossing 2 quiet roads, just wondering a general answer of course all children are different etc and depends on the area but just wondering as a general thing

I let our eldest spend time with friends after school etc at 12 as she'd been walking home from school a while and she had a phone.

Too many crazy drivers around here so I don't even let younger ones (6-10) play on our street, they have a perfectly good garden.

He will be walking to school from 11, can walk home from primary in the last term of year 5 apparently but won’t be letting him as we live a 20 min walk from school and means crossing too many main roads, also will be collecting my younger ones from school anyway so would pointless
