7 month old still hates being on stomach

My 7 month since she was born hates being on her stomach. She will now tolerate it for about 2 minutes which is more than when she was younger but will scream the place down if she is there any longer.
DD sits up independently and sturdy. She reaches out for toys when sitting up however I am still concerned that she won’t crawl if she refuses to be on her stomach. I’ve tried using favourite toys, mirrors etc to encourage tummy time but she still does not like it at all.

She might skip crawling and be a bum-shuffler instead.

Have you tried starting off with a few minutes and then increasing it slightly each time?

My DD hated being on her stomach due to reflux. She rolled front to back at 5 months so every time I put her on her belly, she’d roll over. She didn’t roll back to front until 8.5 months and didn’t crawl until almost 11 months. Now I can’t keep her on her back long enough for a nappy change!

Mine hated tummy time but she strengthened her neck by being held upright etc.. She crawled about 7 months. She just sort of took off from a sitting position chasing after toys. Sounds like your DD is doing well :)
