I am new to here and just looking for some advice or for someone who’s been through the same with their baby/child.
My 11 month old had a sudden onset of a turned eye about 3 weeks ago, I noticed when she looked to the left side her right eye would roll up and wouldn’t be in line with her other eye - something that I’ve never noticed before.
We took her to the GP who sent us straight to the children’s unit and we saw an Opthamology specialist who said she has fourth nerve palsy in her eye. He said it’ll be either something she’s born with, something caused by a head injury or (less likely) something caused by something going on in her head like a tumour. Health wise she is absolutely fine!!
She had an MRI done the other day and we are anxiously waiting for her results but I’m going out of my mind.
Has anyone ever experienced this with their child or know anything about it? I keep looking on google and reading the same things.
Any advice is appreciated x
