Has anyone successfully restarted breastfeeding?

I stopped breastfeeding after 2 weeks after a nasty bout of mastitis in both breasts which really knocked me about and affected my milk supply. I was really struggling with BF and felt that this was the nail in the coffin.
But now I really regret not going back to it and trying harder to build up my supply with my pump. I thought I had lost my milk supply altogether but tonight my boobs started leaking which made me really emotional about everything.
DS is 7 weeks old now and is really settled on formula and gaining weight well -
Has anyone successfully restarted BF and even if I could, would it be fair on him to restart now? All advice welcome please!

@HollyWell my baby is same age as yours! Do you have a lactation consultant or breastfeeding counselor you can call on? Pp has posted good link. Some ways to increase supply;
Skin to skin: strip baby and just keep nappy on and you go topless or if you have a big shirt you can tuck baby in safely and just feed all the time.
Ensure you're eating and drinking well.
Oats is supposed to help increase milk supply.
If you have a breast pump you can try to express a bit after feeding baby. Best of luck.
