Hi my step daughters mum is going away for the week In 2 weeks to a country that is currently on the amber list meaning they have to self isolate for 10 days when they get back (her and her partner are not double vaccinated). My step daughter whose 3 is coming to stay with her dad and me whilst her mums away, however should she go back to her mums whilst there in quarantine or should she stay with us?
We’d prefer she stayed with us incase they got ill but we also understand it’s a long time for her to be away from her mum for. I know the rules are constantly changing but as it stands now what would you do in this situation? As also feel like her mum won’t like us having her for an extra 10 days but we have to do what’s best for her.
