Just a quick one, so they have to be heavy wet or can a yellow line turned blue be OK to say its a wet nappy? Sleep deprivation is messing with my head!

Could you rephrase that? Not sure what you mean

What age is the child?

@Use627 sorry, bloody autocorrect! Basically I know the advice is 6 wet nappies but I've read somewhere where it states heavy wet nappies rather than just 6 wet nappies that when wet go from the yellow line to blue line regardless of the quantity of urine. So either 6 heavy wet or just 6 wet but no matter how wet.

@Hopesakiller three months

My DD was in hospital last week with dehydration. They just asked me if there had been any blue line, didn’t ask about urine mass with the nappies. At the point of admission there hadn’t been any slightest mark on the blue line / indicator. I don’t know if that helps. But would advise if your concerned, about dehydration seek medical advice.

We just used to go by the blue line. Now he’s older it’s a mega heavy nappy but they were never like that when he was tiny
