Hi everyone - baby due any day now and we're wondering whether we should get a cleaner? I've never had a cleaner (nor been very good at cleaning!) so I feel like I don't really know what it will entail or how intrusive I might find it, just that I've read/ been told a few times that it's a sensible thing to do with a new baby and that I won't have the energy to clean for guests!
Did you get one and wish you didn't or vice versa? Or very glad you did? Are there things I need to be conscious about in terms of the cleaning products they (or I!) use with a newborn around (for instance, is it fine for them to use things like mould killer in our ensuite when baby's crib will be right next to the ensuite door)? If you had or have one, did/ do you make sure you are in or out of the house when they clean?
