Hiya

Just wondering what everyone's rough schedule is/was for 12 month old?

Currently we do the following:
6-7am wake
8am breakfast
9.30/10am nap for about an hour
Wake and play
12.00 lunch
12.30 nap for an hour
Wake and play. Snack.
3.30 nap for an hour
Wake and play
6.30dinner
7.00bathtime, wind down soothing play/cuddles/stories, all in a slightly dimmed room.
7.30 - 8.00 milk and sleep. (I wait till he's tired and rubbing his eyes, doesn't exceed 8.00pm)

Would love to hear your schedules 🙂

He's 14 months now but still on pretty much the same schedule.

Wakes at 7am, breakfast and milk or water.
Nap at around 9am for 45 mins (used to be an hour at 12 months old)
Play/get out of the house from 10.30 - 11.30
12pm lunch
1-3 nap time
5pm dinner time
6pm bath time
6.30pm bed time.

Three naps is a lot at 12 months, although if they need it, they need it (I have a 3.5 year old still napping occasionally!).

My just turned one year old is mostly having one nap - in nursery they do an early lunch at 11:15 and then she goes down for a long nap after that. Sometimes if we're out with the buggy in the morning she'll have half an hour in the buggy at about 11, then at home we have a later lunch at around 12:30. She'll then go down around 1:30-2:00 until 3:00-3:30.

She is ready for bed around 7 and always down by 8. Unless she's under the weather or teething she typically sleeps through with a dream feed until about 6.

Breakfast about 7:30, snack or hot meal in nursery around 4pm and dinner at about 6pm.

7am wake with bottle of milk
8am breakfast
10am nap for 1-1.5 hours. Small snack on waking depending on how close to lunch
12 lunch
2pm nap for an hour
4.30pm dinner
7pm bed with bottle of milk

We transitioned to 1 nap at about 15 months, so it now means there’s a snack at 10, early lunch about 11.45 and then nap for a couple of hours straight after

14 month old, just one nap a day how after lunch for 1-2 hrs

AliceW89 · 08/07/2021 10:14

6:30 - Wake with breastfeed
8 - Breakfast
9:30-10:30 - Nap
12:30pm - Lunch
14:00-15:15 ish - Nap
15:30 - Cup of milk and snack
17:45 - Tea
18:40 - Bath
19:00 - Breastfeed
19:15 - Book
19:30 - Bed

He’s 14 months and I suspect we’ll be transitioning to 1 nap pretty soon as the afternoon nap is occasionally becoming short.

Mine was doing this at 12 months:

  • Wake between 7 and 8am, bottle of formula although can't remember how large. Then get changed and have breakfast.
  • Nap 10.30-11.30ish.
  • Lunch 12pm.
  • Another bottle of formula 3pm followed by a nap until 4pm.
  • Dinner at 6pm.
  • Formula 7pm, get ready for bed and asleep by about 7.30pm.

She still had a lot of formula at that age, I think she was about 13-14 months before we had got her down to just two cups of cow's milk a day instead and we replaced the afternoon bottle with a snack then.

My DD is 14 months but had same routine since 9 months.

7: wake and milk
8: breakfast
9:30-11: nap
12: lunch
2: milk
2:30-4: nap
5: dinner
6:30: bath
7: milk and down for bed by 7:30

My DS just turned 12 months:

Between 6am/7am: wake up and milk
Between 7am/8am - breakfast
Between 10am/11am: nap for about an hour to two hours
Between 12pm/1pm: lunch
2pm: milk
3pm -4pm: snacks
5pm/5:30pm: dinner
6:30pm: milk and bedtime

My DS can only have one nap. The second nap was getting difficult so I decided to cut it altogether. Unless we are in the car, he won’t have a second nap. He can be awake for a long time in the afternoon but can’t in the morning!! Confused

My daughter is older now but when she was 12 months it was:

7am - wake and drink of milk
8 - breakfast
9 - out to a playgroup or park or activities at home
11 - snack
11:30 - nap for two hours
1;30 - lunch
Afternoon snack about 3:30
5 - tea
7 - bath, milk and bed
Usually asleep by half 7

This continued until she dropped the nap at 19 months (to my relief, no more planning days around it!)
