My DDs due fairly major surgery next week, I haven’t had the chance to ask any really questions about it yet. Like how long will she be down for? Plus loads of others but would be quite outing.
Consultants secretary is off sick, stand in didn’t seem to know, admissions team couldn’t tell me any more then the name of the surgery and the surgeon.
Is it reasonable to ring the ward and speak to the nurses or will the person who rings for the pre-assessment know the answers to all my questions?
