Baby thermometer- recommendations needed!

Hi all, think it's time I buy a thermometer for my baby (3 month old) as think it will be handy to have.
Is it best to get the in ear ones, point at forehead no touch ones or under the armpit? What's most accurate and does anyone have one they would recommend?
Ideally don't want to spend too much, max £20!
Thanks all!

We can see this thread is a little old now and some of the suggestions may be out of date, but we’ve recently revamped our best baby thermometer page with lots of great options under £20, plus a guide to the best type to go for – we hope you find it useful. Flowers

I found the ear ones the best and most accurate. Under the armpit was a nightmare as they wiggle too much to get an accurate reading! I got Tommee Tippee, reading in seconds. I'd suggest Tommee Tippee or Braun both brill. Around £20-£30. X

Ear Braun is great

I bought a Braun in the ear thermometer for my baby and used it when he was a newborn, but I recently read that the NHS recommend under the armpit for young babies as they’re more accurate!
