My 6 year old child is in a really unfriendly class. The children and parents are in little cliques and have all known each other a long time. I find the parents all very intimidating! She says that she plays with children at school and has friends. She prefers to play with boys but the mums of the boys don't seem to want to invite a girl to their parties or houses. She is very upset that she doesn't go on play dates and other children talk about this. I don't want to appear desperate by constantly asking people for play dates if we never get asked. Any advice on how to help her?
