For back story my four year old is currently having problems with his liver it's caused lots of symptoms including vomiting and jaundice.
We don't know what's causing it but some how he's created the association that him eating too much has caused his illness and will not eat anything apart from cereal and snacks.
He will eat fruit cucumber tomato's as well
As snacks like crisps how do I handle this I don't want to make it worse but he needs to be eating as he's so unwell

Could you, for the time being, go with it and just let him graze/eat lots of small meals? I would try and avoid crisps etc. so that his grazing is totally healthy.

And while doing that get some books/look up some TV shows that are all about healthy eating and how important it is for our health/growth etc. It's the sort of thing that all kids programs will have an episode on.

Once he's happily eating again you can slowly increase portion size/reduce number of meals to 3 plus snacks.
