We have the grand Picasso c4. I have three under five and can fit all their car seats (high back booster, rear facing car seat and the group 0 one that you can carry about- sorry I don't know the technical terms) on the back seat so have only used the seats in the boot once for an adult (it was a bit tight back there but not unrealistically). I choose this car as i heard the crumple zone in a crash is in the boot so I wanted to fit the car seats in the middle.

There's a enough leg room in the back that I can quite easily clamour in to tie them all in without much fuss (although my husband says he's too tall but I think he's a bit extra and seems to manage fine when I'm not there).

You could practically live in the boot with the seats down (although it means I have managed to fill it with crap 🤦‍♀️)

Ours was three years old when we brought it a year ago and cost us £10,000.

I'm happy with it (well happy enough for a seven seater- I miss my small car but it wasn't practical and will return to driving smaller cars when I no longer have to worry about car seats!). We've had no problems with it and have done long drives (London to Yorkshire, London to Manchester and regular 1-1 1/2 drives).

Also the view is really good as the windscreen goes really high up etc i

You'll get loads of answers on this...

We had 2 Ford Grand-CMax for our family of 9, although in practicality our oldest was an adult and I was normally working, so my wife + 6 the majority of the time.

Sliding doors are amazing, seat versatility is good, you can have it set up as a 4,5,6 or 7 seater, as a 6 seat setup you can walk through to the back from the middle row. With the seats down the boot is massive and the car itself is extremely drivable, and easy to park. my wife was terrified of upsizing from her fiat punto, but bought her Cmax straight after the test drive. Downside is the middle seat on the middle row is small.

The Smax has bigger seats and fits 3 child seats on the middle row and adults fairly comfortably in the back, it has a bit more boot with all seats up, but is bigger to park and more expensive as a result.
