DS, just turned 3, potty trained very quickly and was happily wearing pull ups at night and during day nap. However, he's now started calling for us to take him to the loo in the early hours rather than do it in his pull up, as he used to. What do I do? He doesn't have a drink after around 6pm (bed at 7pm) - and some nights he's dry but other nights his pull up has leaked and he's soaking or he wants to get up and go to the loo. Help!

have you tried 'lifting' him before you go to bed?

we're not at this stage quite yet, will follow this thread with interest

Sounds like good progress. Can you put a potty in his room with enough light so he could use it instead. Then give him a sticker in the morning for every time he doesn't disturb you. I'm afraid I value my sleep to much to encourage dd (who is much the same age) to do it yet but it sounds like you don't really have much option !!

Good luck

get up and take him to the loo and teach him how to go himself

put him in pants at night

sounds like he wants to night-train to me

good luck .. it's hell
