I have a 3wo. BF. Today he had literally screamed all day no matter what I try. He’s fed a lot but has also pooed literally 15 times. I’ve walked and jiggled him so much my c section scar has come open on one side. I currently never no help as my partner is away for the night with our eldest. I don’t know if anything is wrong with the baby or if this is normal unsettled behaviour for a newborn. I’m at my wits end.

No advice here but I'm so sorry you're going through this, especially after a CS. I hope you and baby are feeling better, and you get some support soon. Hugs Daffodil

Can you get a taxi back to hospital? They'll look him over and have a look at your scar while you're there. They always say to go back to maternity ward with your newborn if anything is out of the ordinary. You shouldn't have to go through this alone

You need to call the hospital/maternity ward and ask about your scar, they might want you to come in and be seen or they may even send someone out to you. And as PP said they will probably look at your baby to reassure you as well.

It does sound like fairly normal newborn behaviour - they often have a bit of a day or two like this at around this age. So inconvenient that it coincided with your partner being away!

Do you have any family around who could come and help out? Even a friend? I would want to help a friend out if they were in this position.
