Help! Naps gonna be a disaster today!

Help! 17m DS is just down to one nap a day, but quite often still two. He normally wakes about 5.15, and needs two naps (8.45-9.15, then after lunch). Or if he wakes a bit later, say 6am, we can get to a 11.30 one nap day, just....

Today, we have his christening at midday (terrible planning, I know) and he slept until 7am for the first time ever! Which means he's gonna be ready for his nap at, oooh, about midday.

I don't know how to make him not a grumpy grouchy mess at his christening in front of all his family! Heeeeelp!

Thanks.

I'd have woken him up early this morning but that's no use now - sorry! I'd get him over the playground and wear him out then in the car for a drive round before the Christening so he'll sleep beforehand.

park, bath, running about this morning
Loads of stuff to do and then hopefully a car nap.

As above, I’d aim for a car nap!
