Who else is awake?

Urghhhhhhh. DS (17m) is asleep. DH is asleep in our room, snoring like a broken tractor. I'm in the spare bed (adjoining baby's room) trying not to wake baby with my hacking cough and being kept awake by the bloody snoring!! DS and I have been stuck at home for two days waiting for my covid test to come back (negative, thank god), its DS's christening in 10.5 hrs time, I'm wide awake, I'm tired and I'm p*ssed off!!! Rahhhhhh.

Anyone else want to rant?

I'm awake but it's not that late where I am. Not the U.K. rant away. Insomnia is the worst! I always browse Mumsnet when the baby is asleep but I'm not.

I'm awake. Not insomnia, I've only just come to bed. I'm normally up till this time, I love being the only one awake and the peace and stillness at this time in the morning

crazymuseummumtobe · 26/06/2021 01:54

That's a nice way of looking at it @notangelinajolie Grin

I'm awake. At work currently, won't finish until 4am. Had a Costa coffee but still so tired.

chickenyhead · 26/06/2021 02:00

I'm always awake. Yay. Pure insomnia. Joy.

cornflowersandpoppies · 26/06/2021 02:08

Me. Ds woke at midnight and then kept waking up. Sigh. Teeth Sad given him calpol so hoping he’ll sleep now.

crazymuseummumtobe · 26/06/2021 02:14

Oh good luck @cornflowersandpoppies Isn't teething the worst?

I know I should get off my phone and actually close my eyes and try to sleep, but it always seems such a frustrating struggle on nights like this.

I got less than 5 hours last night and I am still waiting for the last of my 23 Cub Scouts to fall asleep. I'm hanging!!

cornflowersandpoppies · 26/06/2021 02:18

I really struggle to get back to sleep when I’ve been repeatedly woken. Not ds’s fault but I swear he timed every wake up for when I’d just nodded off again!

I have a snorer for a partner, it drives me potty. I was actually in tears of frustration last night with it!
