MMR and Chicken Pox vaccines same day

DD is starting nursery soon and can have her chicken pox vaccine on the same day as her MMR or else she has to wait four weeks for it. As the guidelines state it can be done on the same day I'm sure it must be fine, but part of me worries it would be a bad parenting decision! Double the risk of a reaction etc. But then it also gets the first chicken pox one over with on the same day.

Has anyone considered this or done it, any regrets?

In some countries it is given as a combined vaccine - MMRV so they can safely be given together

Yes my DD had it because it’s standard in the US to give both at the same time. I assume other counties where it’s on the standard vaccination schedule do it at the same time too.

MMR is one of 4 vaccines given at the one year vaccines. I wouldn’t just because they will already be having one in each limb and the sites will be sore.

DS had his on the same day, easier to get them all done at once rather than taking him back for another injection. He was absolutely fine.

All of mine have had it as standard in the US. Almost no side effects if I remember correctly.
