Coby what cloth training pants did you use? My DS is 3.3 and is nowhere near training and I am getting desperate. I have taken him out of pullups and put him back into cloth. He's has a slight build so they still fit. He told me he liked the pullups and so there was no real incentive for him not to use them. At least with the cloth ones he tells me when he has done a wee because he feels it at least. We have bought proper big boy pants and put them on and told him he need to tell me when he wants to go. He just wets himself, goes to his bedroom and changes his trousers. We have bought stickers and when he does a wee in the loo (on his seat) he gets one . BTW he hates his potty and never would go on it.
I suppose he doesn't understand the concept so there's not much point in perservering until he gets it is there?

Keep trying, he is def old enough to understand the concept. I used to buy a packet of smarties and each time dd went in the potty she got one, and it worked. I know girls are prob easier to train but I would def persevere don't give up. Cloth are def better each time he wets he will feel it and maybe you could try making him stay in the wet ones for a while so he is not comfortable. Hide the clean ones from him! He will surely not like wearing a wet pants. good luck.
