I just want her off the boob 😭

DD is 10mo on Saturday.

She's been EBF until weaning began @ 6mo.
Tried expressing, tried formula, she would refuse them both so she's not had a feed that hasn't come direct from breast.

She's still waking every 2 hours at night to feed. She much prefers breast to solids and will start getting annoyed part way through a meal for boob. Or will straight refuse and just start grabbing at my top.

In the last week I've managed to get her to take around 2oz of formula a day from an open top cup, but no more. She doesn't drink water offered to her either. It's just constant breastfest.

I only wanted to BF for three months.

Please tell me there's light at the end of the tunnel. I'm exhausted.

My son just hopped right off it and onto a bottle with no fuss.

Ok I need help please!! I miscarried four times in the past couple of years and then got pregnant February again in with my now EX. We split up when I was around 6 weeks pregnant. He told me he wanted nothing to do with the baby told me to get rid and went back to his baby mum. I decided I couldn’t have a baby on my own and I wasn’t far gone so made the choice to have an medical abortion. Anyway fast forward 5 weeks and I’m still getting postive tests , so I went back to the clinic where they scanned me and told me the abortion didn’t work ..! It’s rare but apparently it can happen. Now they have said bevause I had these tablets the baby could have a number of things wrong with it as there isn’t much research about women who have had a failed miscarriage but continued the pregnancy. My heads saying get rid but my heart is saying keep it. I had a number of miscarriages this is my rainbow baby and it’s fought to be here still ! I already have two children and struggle as a single mother. The dad still wants nothing to do with it! My question is what do i do? And has anyone else been in a similar situation? Where you’ve had a healthy pregnancy aftwr this. I can’t believe what’s happening

I’m still BF at 21 months! DD doesn’t drink cow’s milk (will eat it) and hasn’t had any formula or bottles. She has only had milk direct from breast.

The positive is that feeds are drastically reduced nowto 1-2 per day and you are nearly at 12 months so it gets much easier then. Big difference, so I’d just hunker down fir the last bit.

Some of them just need more time than others.
