Totsbots without a tumble drier

We're moving to a house without a drier and won't be in a position to afford one for a few months. Although we'll be moving to soft Scottish water from evil SE hard water, is there anything I can do to speed up Totsbots drying time and minimise crustiness?

I use tots in evil SE water and have a drier but rarely use it for nappies because of cost and wanting the nappies to last longer. I slosh white vinegar in the rinse section which helps. I dry them for about 24 hours and then hang them in my airing cupboard. TBH, I found that this dries the back bit better than the tumble. This gets them dry though they probably are crunchier than tumbling.
