What are you interested in? What sort of level are you aiming at?

I have just posted on another thread with an OP similar to yours wanting to get back into studying. Several of us suggested the OU but it depends what you want to do. Do you want something that has some vocational use now like doing a book keeping course or are you after a qualification and then think about the job afterwards?

If you have no idea what to do then an OU course is a good option. You can get a qualification and see where it takes you.

Alternatively consider what your favourite subjects were at school and see how you can study them further.

Have you had a look at the NEC website? There are all sorts of courses on there some of which are vocational, some aren't. Just take the plunge and do whatever catches your eye. You don't have to stick with it but it will help to focus your choices and preferences.
