Hi,
Completely new to the forum; but struggling to know who to turn to, as I believe I am in quite a unique position. My 9 year old son has decided he wants to live with his dad; and refusing to having anything to do with me. He is verbalising that he wishes he was like me; having lost my mum at the same age.
This is completely heartbreaking. I have not seen him in more than 3 weeks.
He has Autism and ADHD; but I have no idea whether this is a contributing factor.
Is there anyone here who has been through something similar; where the father has become the main carer ?
