When did your baby start reaching for things?

My baby is now 5 months and still doesn’t reach for toys or anything else. When he’s lying on his play gym he just lays on his back and chews his hands.

Mine was 5.5 months. Made no effort at all before that and was hard to tell that he was trying to reach to start with, became much more obvious after another month (by 6.5 months).

Can’t remember exactly but 5 ish months he was yanking my hair 😂

I’ve found our DS will one day start doing something, it’s not like a gradual process which I expected. One day he didn’t sit up the next he did we were like, what, how did that happen 🤭

@Jane88b one thing I’ve realised is all babies reach different milestones at different stages. Don’t worry at all your baby will get there at his own pace. Also if anyone makes any comments regarding his development, just ignore it and enjoy your time with your baby. X
