Siblings arguing

Two DSs. Best buddies since day one. They are now 8 & 11 and the bickering is driving me nuts.
I'm an only child.
I had another kid so they would always have each other.
They do love each other & have fun times. But almost EVERY day there is something they start falling out about. It's so annoying & makes me sad.

Please please tell me how to make it stop?

You can't make it stop and as the parent of similar age children, I want them to argue then make up. I want them both to get into trouble so I have to set boundaries and see I have no favourites. I want them to be a team, play games together and to also gang up on me.

I see these as all positives in managing the outside world.

I never argued with my sibling (parents always stepped in immediately) and the result is I have major anxiety around managing confrontation, i am distrustful of others it's had left me significantly disadvantaged in dealing with the world around me!

Thanks @Landlubber2019 that's a really useful perspective. I'll try not to get so irritated by the bickering!
