I'm making a card for my DS nursery/pre school teachers and wondered if you could prof read this and tell me if there's anything you would add or change please? Thanks so much!

A big thank you for making * time at Pre School so enjoyable over the last 18 months he has had the best time and made some wonderful memories.
I’m so grateful for your time and patience in the early days helping him to settle.
Its obvious how much thought and effort goes into planning activities, and I am so grateful for your commitment and enthusiasm to developing the skills and learning he will need in his next chapter. Thank you all for being the very best starting point ** could ever have for his education.

That’s the nicest message. They will be delisting read it 😀

I would change its to it’s at the start of the second paragraph, but perfect as is.

Whysolong7 · 19/06/2021 21:46

It's lovely OP. I'm sure your son's teachers will be delighted with such a heartfelt message.

As a teacher, I'd love that message.

I'd put a full stop after 18 months. Then you would need to follow it with a capital letter for the new sentence.

Vinniepolis · 19/06/2021 21:52

I would put a full stop after 18 months and start a new sentence. But it’s a lovely message.

Preschool is generally all one word without capitals. Capitals only I'd referring to the full name e.g. Plumtree Preschool.
Then:
...18 months. He has had...
And "it's" as pp said.
What a lovely message. Must be a great preschool.

Ah thank you all so much! I've changed the above points.
I have added this to the end what do you think? Yes or no?

Thank you all for being the very best starting point could ever have for his education, I am so glad he spent this time at* •••pre school with all of you.

The extra bit is lovely too. It's the kind of card I keep to look at and cheer me up if I'm having a stressful time at work.
