Mum guilt taking over

Mum guilt is the worst!!! It's taking over and I constantly feel like I haven't done enough, played with my one year old enough, fed him enough!! I feel like I don't read, talk to him, tell him colours enough.
I am also 6 months pregnant with my second and i know it's already going to drive me INSANE.

Any advise and words of wisdom could really help right now 😣🤦🏻‍♀️

My advice is don’t be so hard on yourself. I’ve had the same guilt, in fact I think every parent has or will at some point.

We may not get the time to sit and physically play one on one with our children, we may not speak to them enough, we may not take them out enough but the main thing is they are loved, fed, and safe. Honestly life can be challenging at the best of times and when you are pregnant your body is using all its energy creating a life so pls give yourself a break.

Any time this guilt creeps in, take a deep breath and just give little one a big hug and that’s more than enough for them to know you are there x

I know how feel.

Do you remember games you used to play at 1? Because I sure don’t! The fact you care this much makes me think you’re probably better than you think.

It’s normal to feel overwhelmed. X
