Teat size?

Hi all

My little one is 5 months and is still on Avent Natural teat size 2 which is 'slow flow' however, I've tried a 3 month plus teat and it seems to be too fast for him. He seems pretty comfortable with the size 2 teat.

But then I'm conflicted as to how long to keep trying with the new teat? How long might it take him to get used to it without getting gassy because of too much air.

Hes my first so not sure if its normal for some babies to be on the same teat for longer.

Mine was on the slowest flow teats until about 5-6 months so there's no need to change if he's happy. It's when they start to get frustrated or falling asleep that it's worth trying a faster one. It usually takes a day or so for them to get used to it.
