Nappies for a small 12 month old

My daughter is just turned 12 months and she's currently wearing size 3 Pampers nappy pants. The weight range is 6 - 11kg and she is 7kg. They are fine in the day time and we don't have any problems. But at night, and quite early in into the night, she has a leak. It leaks out of the back at the side on her thigh. The nappy isn't even full, it's like it's just trickled out.

She is quite slim around her bum and thighs and it doesn't seem a tight fit around her legs so I guess that's it.

Do you have any suggestions please for other brand nappies? We'd prefer pants as these don't gape at the front and we previously had problems with leaking at the front onto her tummy.

I've had a look around today but can't find any nappies for older babies/pants in size 3/7kg. They all start larger.

Hi, I have a small 2 year old who wears pamper nappy pants size 4.

I found during the night he leaked too.

I have went onto Aldi or Morrisons nappies size 5 for during the night. They are a size bigger but also don't move and stretch as your child sleeps. My little one is now rarely wet in the morning.

Hope it helps 🙂

Thanks @Pud26, there is an Aldi I can get to so l'll give theirs a go! Maybe the leg holes will be tighter!

Yeah I always found for during the night a nappy the bigger size than the nappy pants for through the day. They can be pulled a bit tighter but still be comfortable for child.

Pampers Newborn range of nappies are good leakage wise and are quite snug. They come in different sizes.

Nappies through the night definitely, pants through the day.
I use Aldi's size 4+ and my little one is nearly 2. Never leaks.

Thanks all. I'll try nappies at night again then but we switched to pants because the nappies leaked out the front no matter how tight we did them as she sleeps on her front later in the night
