Can people let me know the routine they have for their 6 month olds? I would love to know:

Wake up time and bed time

Naps - how many, how long for, and at what times?

Solid meals - how many and at what times?

Thank you!

At 6 months we were doing 1 meal. We chose to do dinner because that was when we had the biggest variety of food to offer (baby ate what we ate with minor adjustments eg no salt etc) and we ate early ish, around 6.

We were on 3 or 4 naps most days by then and did it on wake windows of roughly 2 hours. She’d only nap for 30 mins each time at that age (like clockwork). Wake up was whenever she woke up for the day, usually around 6 but anywhere from 5 to 7. Then bedtime was 2-2.5 hours after the last nap whenever that was.

It's all very vague here but sort of the following:

7am - wakes up and breastfeeds and plays around/jumperoo whilst getting older DS ready for nursery etc.
9-10;30 - nap
11ish - breastfeed and some kind of solids (usually purées and finger foods). More playing or out and about (park/seeing family etc)
1 - 1:45 - nap
1:45 - breastfeed, more of the above activities and some more solid type food before
4-4:45 - nap
6 - Bath and more purée type stuff
7 - breastfeed and bed
7pm - 7am: wakes up a million times and needs to be breastfeed back to sleep each time zzzz

The nap timings change a lot but usually a long nap at some point in the day and two smaller ones. We've only just introduced food so that's very flexible. The breastfeeding isn't really on schedule as he snacks a lot on my milk too.
