8 week vaccines - rotovirus

Morning

My little boy had his immunisations on Monday morning which included the oral rotavirus drops. Since then he has been so so gassy, he will have his bottle but only 2-3oz rather than the usual 6-7oz every 5-6 hours. I’m trying to do everything to ease his pain but nothing seems to be helping. GP said it’s normal. But what else can I do? He also hasn’t pooped since Sunday now.

Things I’ve tried are -
Frida Windi (only thing that eases it but can’t use more than 3 times in 24 hours)
Gripe water
Warm bath
Tummy massage
Bicycle legs
We have got Infacol in but I’m conscious of giving him too many different things!

Is there anything at all that I can try?! I hate hearing him wake up in pain in the night grunting.

Thanks

(Also was anyone else’s little one like this after their jabs?!)

Mine were both a little out of sorts after rotavirus. I’ve found infacol to help with general colicky symptoms at that age with my oldest. If you’re worried at all immunisation team were great for advice with me last time. Hope he feels much better soon xx

Yes and we just had to wait for it to pass.

Horrible hearing their little stomach churn after a feed
