Hey everyone, I have a 9mo DS & I’m just wondering what everyone does to fill their days with their LO?

We go out & about a lot, a walk, to the park etc but not sure what we should be doing when we have days in the house. I always look out his play mat & all his toys then just let him crawl around & climb about. Whenever I sit down to play with him he just goes & does his own thing. Should I be doing more with him?

Thanks Smile

Not unless you want to.

You can play simple games with him like peekaboo, but at this age he's just enjoying exploring the world around him

Provide him with plenty of sensory materials and he will have fun exploring on his own. Take some time each day to sing some songs with him and read a story, but don't worry too much about him if he's happy exploring!

Thanks PPs! This is the kind of things I do. He has a spiky ball that lights up he loves just throwing about & chasing it. He has musical things & we play boo when I’m in the kitchen & he’s in the living room playing. I often just have some CBeebies or cartoons in the background with some music that we have a sing & dance to at times too. I sometimes feel I’m not interacting enough with him but whenever I go down to play he buggers off to do his own thing lol! 😂
