Three times i've double locked the front door on my way out before realising I had no shoes on

you burn pasta

You try and put the milk bottle in the oven instead of the fridge!

you find the missing housekeys in the salad drawer. (all the time...)

your 3 year old shouts at you for asking her the same question again when you have no recollection of asking her the first time!!

you absently yes ''yes dear'' when they've asked for sweeties for lunch.

You usher someone else chil;d out of pizza hut and tell them to 'shut that door do you want a stranger to grab you??'

In my defence, I am 20wks pg and have a poorly DS and DD's friend with us for her birthday, surely gaining a child is better than losing one???

it's only when you get out into the cold your 3yo says 'but mummy you haven't put my shoes on!'

You leave a parent toddler group having been asked by the leader if you hve everything, including your handbag as you left it last week saying 'yes yes yes' only having to sheepishly go bac 10mins later to retrieve your abandoned handbag!
