5 month old with rash when he’s hot

My 5 month old gets a rash all over everytime he’s hot. He turns very pink, it’s extremely itchy and he just doesn’t stop scratching. The weather is so hot now so that doesn’t help at all. What can I do to help the poor thing?

Sounds like he might be allergic to his sweat. Maybe talk to your GP and see if they'll prescribe an antihistamine

It’s heat rash - it’s very common in hot weather due to sweat building up on the body. Make sure he takes regular baths, well-hydrated, cooler surroundings and try to minimise clothing as much as you can. Hope this helps.

I do all of these except regular baths as he also has bad eczema. So I’ve been advised to bath less frequently.
