Sleeping through the night

My dd2 is 8 weeks old. During the night I have to wake her for nappy changes and feeds. I honestly think she might sleep through if I left her. She's a high percentile baby, does not soil her nappy in the night just wets. Is it OK at 8 weeks to leave her sleep from 11:30pm until 7:30am? Never had this with dd1 she was and still a nightmare at night.

Absolutely fine!!! Enjoy it. As long as a baby has regained to their their birth weight and feeds well in the day it's absolutely fine. Don't worry about the nappies either. Baby will tell you if nappy is dirty but otherwise it's fine to leave it until they wake up - happy sleeping

Mine both slept through from 8 weeks. The first time I woke at 8am in a total panic, thinking DD must have died in the night! I prodded her - she opened one bleary eye, scowled horribly and shut it again!
Celebrate, OP. There will be sleep deprived mums on here who would happily chew their own arm off for a full night’s sleep!

OMG yesss, rejoice and enjoy. No changes here either, nappy lasts all night and unless she wakes for a feed herself I certainly will not wake a sleeping baby. She's now 2 months (already!) and happy as ever. Also my one sleeps 8pm - 4am then eats then sleeps till 6am sometimes 7am. (we have an 19mo as well so they are on the same schedule).

My third child was sleeping 7pm-7am without waking from 7 weeks old.

Enjoy it!

Well not quite through the night, she woke me half an hour ago. However, much longer sleep than dd1 ever gave me at this age.

Definitely don't wake!

My baby slept through from 4 weeks. I was a bit worried but she was over 8 pound at birth and never lost, was a very alert baby during the day so there's nowt wrong with it. I loved that time, at 4 months she started waking every 2 hours and we are only just (at 9 months) getting to the point where she sleeps through again. So enjoy snd make the most!

Yes! Mine slept a full 12 hours until about 9 months. Take advantage of this and enjoy the rest. If baby needs anything, she'll wake and let you know.
