For the past few days my 19 week old ds has seemed extra cranky throughout the day. He has moments where he's happy, smiley even laughing but will swiftly start moaning seemingly out of the blue! I literally can't sit or lay him in one position for more than a few minutes before he gets cranky. The only things that seem to keep him happy are carrying him around the house or garden so he's got stuff to look at. Or taking him for a walk in the buggy or carrier, again so there's lots going on for him to look at. He's a very inquisitive baby so I'm wondering if maybe he just gets bored at home and it isn't stimulating enough? My other theory is could he potentially be teething. He's constantly dribbling and chewing on his fists or whatever he can get his hands on! Would this cause him to be extra cranky out of the blue? Any advice from anyone who's going through or has gone through the same is greatly appreciated! I'm beginning to wonder if I just have a needy baby who constantly needs to be entertained!
