9 month old crying phase

Hello

My little girl is 9 months and she's entered a super clingy phase. If I'm more than 6 inches from her, she screams. Gets way out of control. I can't go to the toilet, exercise, go in the kitchen and most importantly, it's making it very hard to care for my other child.

My other child is 2.5 and he needs my care too. This is impacting on us all. I know I can't 'fix' it and it's natural etc.

Just after some tips which may help me through this phase with as little trauma as possible

Xx

Will she go in a sling? Putting mine on my back is the only way I get dinner made some days. She’ll kick off on the floor but sit there quite happily on my back babbling away.

I took the hard stance and let mine cry. If I had to go to the loo or walk away for some reason I'd just say "mummy needs to go to the loo/answer the door/make lunch, but I'll be back in a minute". Gave her toys to play with and I'd go do my thing. It's just a phase and learning opportunity and will pass.
