My LG won't eat anything but milk

My 11 month old LG just refuses anything but milk.
She was a fantastic chubby greedy little girl, would have three meals plus snacks and eat from our plates but about 6 weeks ago she just gave up.
I keep giving her the food when we eat and bits n bobs in-between but most of it she'll just throw around and won't even try.
It is driving me insane!!
She still wakes for 2 6oz feeds through the night, even when she was eating food.
Currently has tonsillitis so I know she'll be off it at the moment but honestly I just don't know what to do other than offer it and take it away once she's thrown it around.
I don't get upset with her of frustrated,it's just worrying me.

I have no advice but I’m in exactly the same boat right now. All her food goes straight on the floor 🙃

Perfectly normal for a baby or child to just want milk if they're feeling poorly, especially with tonsillitis.

Provided the antibiotics get rid of it completely, LO should be back to eating solids in a couple of weeks.

You could try some other cooking things like ice cream, homemade ice lollies and strawberries.

She's got tonsilitis, she will prefer just liquid or anything smooth as it's so painful. I second the idea of ice cream or frozen yoghurt as that often soothes inflamed tonsils.
If her weight was never an issue,I will let her choose what she wants to eat,she is not a newborn anymore, she won't starve and as soon as the pain is gone, she might be extra ravenous Grin.

Sorry should have stated this started around 6 weeks ago, she's only been poorly a few days.
Is it a development thing?

I've had one with frequent bout of tonsillitis, she is likely to have been suffering longer than a few days.

Yes,you did state it,I think I mostly concentrated on tonsilitis bitGrin. Having 4 DCs,I think it's pretty normal when novelty wears off and they start to have stronger opinion of what they like and don't. I remember some of mine where quite happy with food and then just tried a little bit or not at all, mainly enjoying just the milk (I did BF all of them beyond 2 years of age).I did worry but it seems that they are perfectly happy to regulate their intake of food and as long as there is no weight issue or an illness related to that, they are fine. Just keep offering favourite food, maybe try to make it more visually appealing but otherwise let her chose what and when she wants to eat. Good luck OP.
