Ready for Potty?

Hi would appreciate some advice and tips regarding potty training
DD has just turned two and I'm wondering if these are signs she's ready to try potty.
She has been going somewhere private to do poo for a while however last few days, she hates her nappy being on.
She was pulling at it so I thought she had a UTI but when she's not wearing anything she's fine.
Now she's worked out how to pull it off completely.
She can tell me when she's doing a 'poo poo'
She was wearing pulls up and we ran out with only nappy available at the time so thought maybe this is the issue but at nursery they only give nappies and have no problem.
DD hasn't been to nursery since this new thing of pulling the nappy off.
Not a sizing issue either, she's in size 6 and sometimes comes back in size 4 at nursery because she still fits.

Yay or Nay to try?
Tia :)

Teach her to put her trousers up and down by herself. Read the oh crap potty training book and go for it. DD1 potty trained at just 2 and was sorted within days. DD2 is 23 months and we will be starting in the next couple of weeks.
