2-3 week old, how much to feed

Hello,

So not sure if our little one if going through a growth spurt but sometimes he is taking up to 5 oz.

Then other times like 1oz top ups throughout the day. Then sometimes he takes 3oz.

He's been very unsettled during the days. Then generally sleeps well from 5pm- midnight, then is constantly fussing from midnight onwards.

He seems a little wheezy after feeds. We have changed the formula a few times but he seems to enjoy this one and burps easily.

However when I put him down he like screams out so I try burp him more. He sometimes spits up too.

Anyway what I'm getting at is it normal for him to be so sporadic with feeding and taking in lots at a time? Could it be a growth spurt?

Or is he taking too much?

Just be good to hear your experiences!

It's good that you're feeding to his appetite rather than a schedule but the wheezing would concern me.

Do you think there's a possibility of an allergy, possibly CMPA?

Are you doing responsive and paced feeding?

Could be reflux?
