I'm 7.5 months pregnant, exhausted and mostly immobile. I have a very active 13 month old, what games/ toys can I play with him that might keep him relatively still? I need ways to keep him away from the TV but also to catch my breath for longer than 5 mins!
TIA:)

I find an open pan drawer is like the holy grail of 1 year old play. That and the garden. My DC is able to hunt out a stagnant pool of smelly water a mile off and loves to rustle up gourmet mud kitchen delicacies.

Mine same age needs exercise to time outside

Trike with handle - you need to walk, but they are contained. Gets them entertained and fresh air. You can walk slowly

Garden - sandpit, mud kitchen, water play. Picking up stones and daisies

Indoors - something to climb on. Dolls pram with teddies in. Duplo. Toy animals. Pull along toy. Lift flap books. Mega sketch to start ‘drawing’

Do you have a garden? If so, I'd sit in the shade with a nice drink. You can give him some water and some toys to wash.
