Hi I’m looking for some advice please,
I have a 4 week Old and I am currently ebf and as much as I love it I’m finding it really hard. I have a 2 year old who is needing a lot of my attention and the constant feeding is meaning he is missing out.

I want wondering what everyone’s combi feeding routines are? What feeds do you do as what

We did combi feeding from the start with our second (best of both worlds, frankly!). The routine we settled was husband fed baby at toddler's bedtime, which meant my eldest and I got an uninterrupted 45 minutes each day, which I think meant a lot to him.

Was this your only bottle feed of the day? That sounds like a really good idea and I’ll defo give that a try

My first was combination feeding out of necessity for several reasons. Each day was according to DC & our needs. 2nd ended up less so as he was so fast at breast feeding. But scarily I fell asleep feeding him in the middle of the night. Bottles would have been safer

I combi fed from the start - not deliberately really but baby was tongue tied as struggled a bit to start with.

One bottle of formula a day before bed and my husband gives that bottle. I also would sometimes give a bottle of formula if I was out somewhere and feeling self conscious about feeding in public.

For the first few months, pretty much. Although with a few ad hoc ones as required, when I needed sleep, when we were out and I wanted to wear what I wanted, not clothes I could feed in.

Once BF was established I gave a bottle for the last feed before bed. In reality it was to make them hopefully sleep a bit longer, but it was also so that they could feed if ever there was an emergency and I couldn’t be there.
